Port and Starboard
One month ago today some members of the Nurturing Fibres group on Ravelry set sail on their cruise to nowhere in Cape Town, South Africa. From the 1st to the 3rd November they sipped cocktails while chatting and knitting on board the MSC Opera. Those unlucky souls marooned on land held a small competition to win one of the project bags the sailors received. I am still in shock, I won!
The project bag was made and gifted by Vikki of Strawberry Lane Crafts, inside is a ball of Nurturing Fibres Supertwist Sock Wool in the special Cruise colour-way “Port and Starboard” and two balls of Carle’ of Nurturing Fibres new line Eco-Cotton in “Denim” and “Driftwood.” Also included is an adorable badge and Nautical Washi Tape supplied by Gina Ross of Natural Yarns and some Stitch Markers which were supplied by either Sally or Pam. I feel so chuffed with everything, I think I am going to head off now and cast on a pair of socks!
